In the LCK summer game on August 16, AF beat HLE in a one-after-two victory, further away from the playoffs. As long as SKT or GEN fail in subsequent games, AF can enter the playoffs. After the match, Korean media interviewed AF Supervisor NoFe. The following is part of the interview.

Q: How did you feel after winning?
To enter the summer regular season, our goal is to “win or lose no matter which team we play against, but we have to go all out”. It seems to have been achieved to some extent, so it is satisfied. It’s a pity that time has passed so fast.
Q: Who are the players who want to be praised in particular?
All five played well. Senan’s ranking has dropped a lot lately, and when he arrives at Drill One, it’s like my ranking, so he’ll be joking (laughing). But the player is a real-life player. I think he is a player worth looking forward to in the future.
Q: Eleven wins and seven loses. Will there be a lot of changes in the rest of the game?
The biggest regret is that we didn’t make it into the playoffs on our own. To be selected from both SKT and GEN teams, both teams are strong. The style of both teams is not good for us. Players already have respect for SKT, so SKT is a little more powerful. After hearing this, I said to the players, “If you see GEN, if you lose, we won’t even be able to play in the qualifying tournament. If SKT comes up, we’ll be able to qualify. I was so careful to think, I don’t know if this can be more reassuring. Of course, the best thing is to win all.
Q: Is there anything else that needs to be improved?
I think that in order to improve the team’s accomplishment without demonic performance, it must be based on the experience of the players. We can’t create time, so the players can’t rush. You’re already a strong team. Recently I’ve been hoping to play like I did in the third inning today. That looks good. I’m really satisfied. Always concerned about the development of players, good mood. Even if they are not together next year, I believe the players can do well.
Q: Talk about the most unforgettable wins and failures in the summer games.
The most unfortunate thing is the second round of the game against SB. In the third inning, Dread shouted “Wow, yes” (laughter) as he crossed the tower. The most impressive victory was the second round of DWG. I’ve never beaten DWG before, and it’s satisfying to win in the end.
Q: For the first time in his long career, he has experienced the position of coach rather than supervisor. What does 2019 mean to you personally?
After joining the team, I learned a lot from the then supervisor, iloveoov. Learn what you can’t. I think 2019 will be a great turning point and wealth for my long career.
