This Saturday, the TSM team will meet the TL team in the final of the North American LCS. Doublelift and CoreJJ, the TL team’s downstream team, were interviewed by foreign media before the game. They talked about last week’s semi-finals and analyzed Tarik/Girl’s downstream team as well as the next match with TSM.
Q: Thank you for taking the time to interview. How was your trip to St. Louis?
Doublelift: OK. I slept all the way.
CoreJJ: Yeah, it’s only three hours, so it’s a very relaxed and pleasant trip.
Q: I’m glad to hear that. The next spring finals are your second appearance after defeating FLY in the playoffs. How do you feel about the two downstream combinations?
Doublelift: I feel good, but I won’t say what I really do. In the first game, I probably played the most important role with Suna. In the other two games, except for the Tutas and the Natas, all the teammates are taking the heads. I really don’t think I’ve done anything. That’s basically it. I don’t remember what I’ve done to make a difference, but I think we’ve done a good job for the group.
CoreJJ: Just like Doublelift thought, I don’t think we did anything special down the road. But I’m glad to blow up the opposite road.
Question: Doublelift, compared with the traditional shooter heroes, is there any difference in the way she is used?
Doublelift: It’s a little different. We’ve practiced a lot, and I think its basic principles are similar to what I used to do when I played Victor’s off-road with the warning of theft and the blade of theft.
It’s very similar to Suna’s, that is, first develop the layers of the warning signs and the blades of theft, and then when the task is completed, your frost teeth should be made, and your income will be higher. Tarik to repair the knife, you will have a very high economy, usually higher than the opponent’s next step, even if it is perfect to repair the knife, but you do not.
As the game progresses, Sina/Tarik also has a lot of cooperation. It’s no different from the usual downstream combination. You just need to do things in your own strong period. In fact, you are not too weak in the early stage, and then after the end of the line, you will find a 3v3 or 5v5 regiment to fight. The only difference is that you don’t have to mend the knife before you finish the task.
Question: Looking ahead to the final of LCS, do you think TSM can beat C9?
Doublelift: I thought C9 was going to win. I personally think so. You Core?
CoreJJ: Yeah, me too. I thought C9 was going to win.
Q: Doublelift, from your point of view, what improvements have TSM made them stronger than C9?
Doublelift: I think in the three games that TSM won, they had a big advantage in the middle and the bottom. In fact, in the last game, there was a big gap in the road, because it was the vampire who beat Owen.
I don’t think the C9 team is good, and TSM is playing well around their winning ways. Bilson did a lot better than Nisqy throughout the game, and C9 didn’t do very well down the road. I don’t know if TSM is doing well, but I think there are too many mistakes in C9. I don’t think they usually choose that way, and they don’t usually play that badly, but they may lose the third and fourth innings and then blow up.
Q: What do you think are the key factors in this weekend’s finals?
Doublelift: Core answers this question first.
CoreJJ: Well… it’s hard to say… What do you think of Peter?
Doublelift: I’m not sure. I think it’s really close. Maybe it’s one of the roads that exploded, or it depends on a group fight. We may play for thirty or forty minutes, and then a dragon decides to play. I don’t think there’s anything special for both sides. It’s mainly about teamwork.
CoreJJ: Yeah, and we have Doublelift, but they don’t! (laughter)
Doublelift: My God…
Q: Core JJ, this is your first finals in North America, and you are also in the discussion of MVP. How do you feel about your performance this season and your MVP candidacy?
CoreJJ: I didn’t play that well. I just played the same game as I did in Korea. I’m very grateful to all of you for praising me as the best aid in North America. My focus hasn’t changed. I’m just playing in the way I normally do and concentrating on it.
Q: Thank you very much for your interview. Finally, what do you want to say to TL fans before the game?
Doublelift: I don’t want to say much, just thank you for cheering us on. Think about the positive side and hope that we can make you proud.
CoreJJ: TL’s celebration meeting.
